Privacy Policy

Kuttle is an iOS app for managing short links on a Kutt server that you run or have an account on. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

We do not collect any data

The developer of Kuttle does not collect, store, transmit or have access to any of your personal data. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs.

Information stored on your device

Server address, API key and your account email. Stored in the iOS Keychain on your device only. They are not included in backups to other devices and are never sent to the developer.
Preferences. Your chosen appearance and language are stored locally in the app's settings.

If you sign in with an email and password instead of pasting an API key, those credentials are sent once, directly to your server, to retrieve your API key. The password is not stored.

Network connections

Kuttle connects only to the server address you enter. All requests go directly from your device to that server; nothing is routed through the developer. Connections to public addresses require HTTPS.

Your links, statistics and domains live on that server. How that data is handled is determined by whoever operates the server, not by Kuttle.

Deleting your data

Choose Disconnect in Settings to remove the server address, API key and email from your device, or delete the app to remove everything it has stored.

Children

Kuttle does not collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.

Getting started

You need a Kutt server (version 3 or later). Kuttle does not provide a link-shortening service by itself.
On your Kutt website, open Settings and generate an API key, then paste it into Kuttle together with your server address.

Common questions

"Invalid API key". Generate a new key in your Kutt settings and connect again. Generating a new key invalidates the old one.
Can't connect over http. Public addresses must use HTTPS. Plain http is allowed only for local or private-network addresses.
Links on my custom domain don't work. The domain's DNS, reverse proxy and certificate must be set up on the server first. See the info button on the Domains tab for the steps.

我們不收集任何資料

Kuttle 的開發者不會收集、儲存、傳輸或存取你的任何個人資料。App 內沒有分析工具、廣告、追蹤，也沒有任何第三方 SDK。

儲存在你裝置上的資訊

伺服器位址、API key 與帳號 email。只儲存在這台裝置的 iOS 鑰匙圈，不會隨備份轉移到其他裝置，也不會傳給開發者。
偏好設定。你選擇的外觀與語言儲存在 App 本機的設定中。

如果你選擇用 email 與密碼登入而不是貼上 API key，這組帳密只會直接送到你的伺服器一次，用來取得 API key；密碼不會被儲存。

網路連線

Kuttle 只會連線到你輸入的伺服器位址。所有請求都從你的裝置直接送往該伺服器，不經過開發者。連線到公開位址一律要求 HTTPS。

你的短網址、統計與網域資料存放在該伺服器上，這些資料如何處理由伺服器的營運者決定，與 Kuttle 無關。

刪除資料

在「設定」中選擇「中斷連線」即可移除裝置上的伺服器位址、API key 與 email；刪除 App 則會移除它儲存的所有內容。

兒童

Kuttle 不會收集任何人的資訊，包含兒童。

本政策若有變更，會在此頁面公布更新後的版本與日期。

開始使用

你需要一台 Kutt 伺服器（第 3 版以上）。Kuttle 本身不提供短網址服務。
在你的 Kutt 網站進入「Settings」產生 API key，連同伺服器位址一起貼到 Kuttle。

常見問題

顯示 API key 無效。到 Kutt 設定頁重新產生 key 後再連線一次。產生新 key 會讓舊的失效。
無法用 http 連線。公開位址必須使用 HTTPS，只有本機或私有網段位址允許 http。
自訂網域的短網址打不開。需要先在伺服器端完成 DNS、反向代理與憑證設定，步驟請見「網域」分頁左上角的說明按鈕。

Kuttle 為獨立專案，與 Kutt 專案無隸屬或背書關係。
